We always start out with a couple of easy songs to warm up.  After we finish the new songs we’ll choose some songs from our 2013 song file or from earlier this year.  So bring all previous songs with you.

If you don’t have a working printer at home, you can go to any branch location of the library and use one of their computers to print the files. You do have to become a library member (if you aren’t already) and printing is 15 cents per page.  Or you can use the library’s copier to make a copy once you get there, come a little early if you need to do that.

Song List:   distributed via email attachment for August

List of things to bring:

  • A printout of the pdf file with our songs for the day and bring the all the songs from prior meetings so we can play some of the old ones again.
  • Ukulele and your Tuner (If you don’t have a ukulele yet, you can come and see what it’s all about and learn about the different ukuleles available to choose from.)
  • Music Stand (Optional but nice to have. You can use a chair or bring a folding TV table to put your music on.)

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  We will be playing some of the songs from October, December & January, so bring those too.

List of things to bring:

  • A printout of the pdf file with our songs for the day and it’s a good idea to bring all the songs from prior meetings so we can play some of the old ones again but at the very least bring this month and last month.  Several members have organized all our previous songs alphabetically in a 3-ring binder.  This is an excellent idea and if everyone will do the same we can use it as a club song book whenever we have time for extra songs.
  • Ukulele and your Tuner (If you don’t have a ukulele yet, you can come and see what it’s all about and learn about the different ukuleles available to choose from.)
  • Music Stand (Optional but nice to have. You can use a chair or bring a folding TV table to put your music on.)
